What are the requirements for online notarizations?All identification cards must be original, current, or issued within the last 5 years, and must include a photo, physical description, signature, and serial number. Our identification procedures strictly adhere to the regulations set forth by the Maryland Secretary of State. The following forms of identification are acceptable: State-issued driver's license. State-issued identification card. U.S. military identification card. Resident alien identification card (green card) U.S. passport.
